TOOLS I LOve

(I only recommend products I use and love. The below list contains links and some are affiliate, which means I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you if you decide to buy.)

Confidence Tools

  1. This is the one course I rec to all my clients seeking more confidence - it is excellent. And a bargain.

  2. A confidence mantra a day boosts you in amazing ways over time; here’s my favorite resource.

  3. This is the best way to start the journaling habit - in less than a minute a day, which can boost your confidence quickly.

Work Tools

  1. I have recommended this laptop lift to no less than 20 people - so helpful to be on video calls and type simultaneously…

  2. …And then I rediscovered the joy of a separate keyboard for ergonomics and mouse. I swear I haven’t used a computer mouse in 20 years but am consistently surprised at how much faster it makes my computer work.

  3. A defunct Mac Air and a ton of research led me to the lightest laptop with the biggest screen & longest battery life I could find: LG Gram.

  4. During the days of lockdown and/or frustration, this was extremely helpful to us all. He can still be heard on occasion.

  5. Still love the daily dose of motivation and confidence mantras this provides.

Organizing Tools

  1. I rec this great journal to all my leadership/manager clients - a planner that helps you manage your team from DailyGreatness (10% off link).

  2. For a more formal planner, I’m still a big fan of Panda Planners and my choice is the Pro (full size).

  3. When projects require software organization, Click-Up is hands-down amazing - the free plan is very generous.

  4. As is my favorite Pomodoro timer (free for basic and has great integrations, including Click-Up). If you’ve never used this method, try it.

Thinking Tools

  1. If you’ve never experienced the music with background brain waives for focus try a free trial here: Focus@Will and see what a difference it makes for your work blocks.

  2. An increase in executive communication skills is one of the most common leadership coaching topics - Grammarly helps to tighten up your business writing beautifully. I use it every day.

  3. Last but not least, and it could have fit in many of the above categories, Kindle Unlimited is a steal at $9.99 a month. I read at least twenty business books a year, many of them included in the subscription - and on Kindle, you can make highlights and notes and send them to yourself. You don’t need an Amazon Kindle to use it either - the Kindle app is on iOS and Android.
